Purpose of the role
Collaborate to create inspirational marketing: Work alongside the Head of Group Marketing, Marketing Executive and Subject Matter Experts to develop, create and deliver compelling content campaigns that influence, educate and entertain target markets and stimulate our industries.
Drive content creation for a purpose: Achieve our goal of becoming a thought leader in health and care management across the corporate, legal and insurance sectors.
Boost the brand and service experience: Ensure the communication of an uplifting and energising brand experience that speaks to multiple target audiences at every touchpoint.
Develop a content strategy and build a content pipeline: Drive and strengthen our content performance to influence the perception of our brand as an expert and thought leader in health and care management.
Key responsibilities
Content strategy: You are responsible for supporting the Head of Group Marketing in creating a multichannel content strategy that facilitates engagement across the pipeline and customer lifecycle.
You create and deliver long-term content plans that:
- Support the growth of catastrophic injury case management services and the corporate health services.
- Showcase brand-led thought leadership to position HCML as a leader in its respective industries.
- Utilise the most appropriate channels to reach our different audiences and understand the most effective mediums with which to engage, educate and entertain.
Content creation: You are responsible for ensuring the highest standards of creativity in content production, with a vision for content that always provides value to its intended audience.
You work to continually:
- Design and drive our editorial calendar, collaborating on design, creation, editing and publishing of content across all channels
- Liaise with subject matter experts within the business to create informed, factual and meaningful content.
- Carry out in-depth research, keeping ahead of customer and market trends to influence the content plan.
- Introduce new channels including audio and video.
- Manage and provide training on content guidelines to ensure a consistent brand tone, style and voice.
Internal comms: You support the Head of Group Marketing with the internal comms strategy and are instrumental in creating regular content to keep everyone up to date with what’s happening in the business.
Your role includes:
- Communicating with all departments to find out the latest news, achievements and plans across the business.
- Coming up with ideas on how to best share news and company information so that it is current, interesting and useful for Team HCML.
- Making sure there is a regular flow of comms.
Content performance: You are responsible for ensuring that our content always adds value to customers and prospects, and that it demonstrates our expertise and innovation within our industries and those we serve.
To do this you:
- Track meaningful metrics that demonstrate the value our content provides to the pipeline and the HCML brand.
- Ensure the content strategy meets business objectives and enhances our brand positioning.
- Conduct regular audits on content and content strategy to improve engagement and results.

Experience
Essential:

You are passionate about all things ‘content’ and have previous experience as a content marketer/in content strategy.
You’ll be used to creating a range of polished and professional content including blogs/articles, social posts, reports, animations/films, web copy, infographics, whitepapers, ebooks, marketing collateral (sales brochures, flyers), case studies, guides, across a variety of digital and offline channels including brand social media platforms, website and SEO, webinars, video, podcasts, display ads, magazines, stands and banners.
You’re accomplished in segmentation, targeting and positioning to create compelling content for multiple audiences.
You know how to create compelling content for digital channels as well as offline.
Your understanding of how to use branding and tone of voice in content creation is second to none.
You have previously worked in a B2B marketing environment.

Desirable:
- Experience in the field of rehabilitation case management.
- Experience in or understanding of the personal injury rehabilitation market.
- Disability assessment experience.

Qualifications & training
Essential:
- Qualification in Nursing, Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy.
- Active HCPC registration, professional board membership and public liability insurance.
